Meet Karen

Her Story

Hi, I'm Karen. I'm originally from Yarmouth, N.S., and I moved to Moncton in 1997. Growing up, I was always drawn to the beauty industry and loved experimenting with hair on family and friends.

I attended NSCC in 1986 for a two-year cosmetology course and graduated in 1988. From there, I began building a career in an industry I have loved ever since.

After owning my own home salon and managing two other salon day spas, I became the proud owner of Razor's Edge Hair and Spa, a beautiful modern Redken salon with an incredible team behind me. I am so proud of them and deeply appreciate all they do.

I love this industry and am always eager to continue my education and attend business courses. There's always something new to learn.

I'm so thankful for the many lives that have crossed my path in this profession. I appreciate you all, and I have so much love and respect for my team.
